The proposal dedicated to those who on vacation love to immerse themselves in beautiful natural scenery
Monte San Bartolo Natural Park
Between the Municipalities of Gabicce Mare and Pesaro, about twenty kilometers from the Romagna Camping Village, there is the Monte San Bartolo Natural Park. The park is mainly characterized by the stretch of high coast, largely represented by live cliffs, really rare in the whole upper Adriatic. The tops touch the 200 meters and guarantee a suggestive panoramic view of the coast, while the beaches have the characteristic of not only presenting sandy bottoms, but also in pebbles.
The landscape generally conveys a sense of harmony, and is characterized by a coexistence between cultivated fields, former cultivated fields now renaturalized and rows of trees and hedges, where you can find roe deer, foxes, badgers, porcupines, hares but also several species of reptiles, amphibians, migratory birds and multi-colored insects.
Inside the Monte San Bartolo Natural Park there are also the Archaeological Excavations of Colombarone, which in the last 25 years have brought to light a late imperial villa dating from between the third and sixth centuries AD. on which the early Christian basilica of San Cristoforo ad Aquilam stands.
